HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!
You might say that my mom is a little bit of a holiday FREAK! Growing up, it did not matter how insignificant of a holiday, we always got presents, or had a special dinner, etc. St Patrick's Day breakfast was always green pancakes with green M&M's and skittles, green orange juice and milk, green butter, etc. Then we also had an array of greens for dinner. Being the slacker mom that I am, I completely forgot about St Patrick's Day until after Talon had gone to school (poor kid had on plaid shorts that he was desperately trying to pass off as having green in them)! I didn't completely forget, I just thought it was on Wednesday, not Tuesday. Anyway, in trying to hold true to Pearson traditions, I made a green dinner. And being the culinary genius that I am, it was oh-so gourmet- green alfredo sauce over penne (with broccoli), artichokes, and green milk. And for dessert our favorite, strawberry shortcake (with green cool whip of course). Talon thought it was a "blog-worthy" moment.

This is Tatum. you look funny!
How funny!! Definitely blog-worthy, Talon!! We usually have cabbage with real corned beef and potatoe in it>Oh! and onions, of course! But this year< we didn't. Paul usually cooks it. Oh well!! Maybe my irish ancestors will overlook it just this once!
You are such a good mom I did not do anything for my kids.
I think the green cool whip is blog-worthy, too. NOT as blog-worthy as the pink coat or the pigtails, but definitely worth the read! ;^)
